If the data can’t prove it, it doesn’t count – better one patch too few than one that isn’t true.

  • FloodlightAn evening match – kick-off at 6 pm or later according to the fixture list.
  • DerbyTwo clubs from the same city – or one of the big derbies across city limits, like the Revierderby or the Nordderby.
  • Cup nightA cup match. European competitions count too.
  • New YearA match between 1 and 6 January, up to Epiphany.
  • Goal festFive goals or more in one match.
  • Winter tourA match in December or January.
  • Ball contactYou touched the match ball.
  • PhotographerA photo in your logbook.
  • Double header · Triple headerTwo or three matches on the same day.
  • Ten in a seasonTen matches in one season, July to June.
  • League completeEvery ground in a league visited.

2Collecting, leagues, on the road

Round numbers.

  • 1 · 5 · 10 · 25 · 50 · 100 · 250Different grounds. A second visit to the same ground doesn’t count twice.
  • Per leagueA patch in the league’s colours for every league you’ve been to. It fills up with each ground and is complete once you’ve seen them all.
  • Across the borderA match abroad. Your first country counts as home – abroad starts with the second.
  • 3 · 5 · 10 countriesSeen a match in that many countries.

3Your own patches

“Italia 90”, “Every ground on the Weser”, “The grounds of my childhood”: a name, a symbol, a colour and the grounds that belong to it.

  • CreateTap “+” in your collection, search for grounds, pick them, done. You need a Hoppster account for this.
  • Keep countYour patches sit at the top under “Mine” with “5 of 7”. You earn it on the day the last missing ground is added.
  • Submit – coming soonYou’ll be able to send us your patch, and we’ll release the good ones for everyone. That works as soon as our server is ready.
  • LaterRules like “five floodlit matches in winter”. Still a plan, no date yet.
